Responsible Sterilization of Community Cats In The Montreal Area

Learn why humane population control makes sense and how you can help

“What greater gift than the love of a cat.” ― Charles Dickens

Since 2003, we at STERI-ANIMAL have been dedicated to the responsible and humane control of the community cat overpopulation in the Montreal area. We do this through coordinating sterilizations, vaccinations, and other preventative veterinary care.

We aim to prevent unwanted community cats from suffering abuse, spending their lives in overcrowded shelters, or being killed in a pound.

We do not receive any funding from any level of government so we can only accomplish our important mission with your help:

  • Donate to our cause – We are a fully registered charity, run by volunteers. Fully 100 percent of all funds donated help prevent the birth of unwanted kittens.
  • Attend an event – Help us raise funds for our sterilization programs through arts shows, bowl-a-thons, garage sales, and other fun events.
  • Volunteer to help – We are looking for independent self-starters who can work with us to effectively reduce the community cat overpopulation in Montreal.
